Hey, I’m Rebecca Rousselle. I’ve been living on the Westbank of NOLA for the last 5 years, but “back home” is New Roads (and Thibodaux, thanks to my college years).

My husband and I have been living out our homesteading dreams in our tiny backyard from the minute we moved in. Chickens, ducks, quail, lettuce, orange trees, tomatoes, and blueberry bushes - we’ve tried, succeeded, and failed those and more.

My first entered the world at an amazing Birth Center Birth. It was this experience that ultimately sparked my love for and career in the birth world. We welcomed our second in the most sacred home birth just 2 years later. I love working with expecting families and helping them to feel confident in their own abilities and intuition.

When reflecting on my own journey to and into motherhood, one thing really stood out - gaining and maintaining peace.

What a chaotic, joy-filled, stressful, confusing, and amazing season to attempt to cultivate and maintain peace within ones self, family, and home.

Pax matris, ergo pax familium.

Peace of the mother, therefore peace of the family.

I felt as if this summed up what I felt I needed in my early days as a new mother and continue to need (as postpartum never truly ends).

I hope to provide an array of services and continue to grow personally, and as a brand, to serve families within my reach and help them to have peace within their homes.
